The national members of the Adjudication Committee for the Nordic Council Literature Prize have nominated 13 works for the prize in 2014.


The national members of the Adjudication Committee for the Nordic Council Literature Prize have nominated 13 works for the prize in 2014. The Icelandic novels nominated are Evil / Illska by Eiríkur Örn Norðdahl and Secretaries to the Spirits /Ósjálfrátt by Auður Jónsdóttir.

The winner of the Nordic Council Literature Prize is selected by the Adjudication Committee for the Nordic Council Literature Prize and will be announced at the Nordic Council Prize Gala at the end of October 2014 in Stockholm. It is accompanied by a cheque for DKK 350,000.
