Translators in Residence / Travel Support for 2014

The Icelandic Literature Center and The Writers´ Union of Iceland invite applications for residency grants for translators of Icelandic literature. Applicants selected will be granted two to four weeks' stay in Gunnarshús (Reykjavík's writers' residence) in 2015.The applications should be sent no later than October 1, 2014 to our email address islit@islit.is.


The Icelandic Literature Center and The Writers´ Union of Iceland invite applications for residency grants for translators of Icelandic literature. Applicants selected will be granted two to four weeks' stay in Gunnarshús (Reykjavík's writers' residence) in 2015. The grant consists of travel expenses, housing and a sum of ISK 20.000. pr. week to cover living expenses during the stay. The applications, indicating translated works/planned translations from Icelandic and preferable dates of the stay, should be sent no later than October 1, 2014 to our email address islit@islit.is.
