A national game of reading. People of all ages, all over Iceland, can compete in this simple and fun game. You register on the web (allirlesa.is) and list the time spent reading. Form or join a team with your family, work colleagues or friends and cuddle up with a book during the dark time of Þorri. The teams and individual that spend the most time reading during the game period will be rewarded with prizes. 

 

AllirlesaAllir lesa – or Ready, Steady, Read! is a national game of reading. People of all ages, all over Iceland, can compete in this simple and fun game. The game starts on January 27, 2017 and ends on February 19th. You can compete in a team or  as an individual, or both. The game is simple, you register on the web and list the time spent reading. The instructions are in Icelandic, but we encourage people of all languages to take part and you can of course read books in whichever langueage you want. Form or join a team with your family, work colleagues or friends and cuddle up with a book during the dark time of Þorri. The teams and individual that spend the most time reading during the game period will be rewarded with prizes.
