Sample Translation Grants

Publishers, agents, translators and authors may apply for sample translations grants of Icelandic literature into foreign languages.
The application form is available 4 weeks before the next application date. APPLY
Publishers, agents, translators and authors abroad, as well as in Iceland, may apply to the Icelandic Literature Center for sample translations grants of Icelandic literature into foreign languages.
The sample should be send to the Icelandic Literature Center before the evaluation.
The following documents must be attached:
- The translator's C.V. and previously translated and published titles. The translator has to translate into his/her mother tongue (native language)
Application deadline is annually on 15 February and 15 September.
The application form is available 4 weeks before the next application date, and are being processed within 6 weeks. APPLY
