The seven books have in common to have sold previously in more than 300.000 copies in France.


Betty by Arnaldur Indriðason and Rosa Candida / The Greenhouse by Auður Ava Ólafsdóttir are among seven books by seven authors in a special "golden series" of bestselling books, Points D‘Or, recently published in France.

The seven books have in common to be so-called bestsellers and sold previously in more than 300.000 copies in France. Among other authors on the list are Henning Mankell, John Irving and Hugh Laurie.

Two novels have been published by Auður Ava Ólafsdóttir in French and more than a dozen novels by Arnaldur Indriðason. All together Indriðason's books have sold in more than 2,5 millions copies in France alone and 10 million copies world wide.
