Inspiring NordLit meeting in Stockholm

The meeting was held June 15-17. Participants touched on various issues regarding the Centers' work and furthered their plans for ongoing collaboration.

Icelandic Literature Center took part in a yearly meeting with the network of Nordic Literary Centers.

NordLit is a network of Nordic Literary Centers collaborating closely to boost visibility and distribution of Nordic literature in various ways. Each year the network meets in one of the countries' capitals in rotation and now it was Sweden's turn.

The meeting was held in sunny Stockholm where the participants touched on various issues regarding the centers' work, exchanged ideas and worked together on finding ways to enhance and strengthen operations and promotion of Nordic literature in general context.

In addition to the Icelandic Literature Center (Islit) the following centers are part of the network; Norla in Norway, Fili in Finland, FarLit in the Faroese Islands, Swedish Arts Council - Literature Exchange in Sweden, The Danish Arts Council in Denmark, Greenlit in Greenland and Samisk Kunstnerråd in Samiland.
