Accessible list of Icelandic authors whose books have been published in other languages

20. January, 2021

On Icelandic Literature Center's website you can find a list of Icelandic authors whose books have been published in other languages - as well as a list of their published translations.

The website was launched last autumn and has been very well received. There you can look up information about Icelandic authors whose books have been translated into other languages - as well as a list of their published translations. New authors are added regularly to the website.

You can search for an author by name, genre or by a language.

Useful tool in times of pandemic

The objective of the website is to promote Icelandic authors, and at the same time to enable publishers abroad, agents, organizers of events and festivals etc. to find Icelandic authors and their books in translation. The website has proven to be a very useful tool, especially in times of the pandemic, when book fairs has been cancelled and travelling is very rare.
