Every week, The Icelandic Literature Center receives copies of Icelandic works of literature in foreign translations, courtesy of the translation grants allocated by the Center. Here you can see a diverse collection of book covers of some of the recently published translations. They are available at the National Library of Iceland!

MoreA new catalogue on Icelandic children's and young adult authors, along with participation in the Bologna Children's Book Fair and increased support for translating children's and YA books into foreign languages in 2026.
MoreApplications for translation grants are accepted twice a year—in February and September.
