Nominations for the 2020 Icelandic Literary Prize

15 titles have been nominated for the Icelandic Literary Prize in three categories. The prize will be awarded by the President of Iceland, Guðni Th. Jóhannesson, in the beginning of year 2021.

On December 2nd, the nominations of 15 titles for the Icelandic Literary Prize were announced. There were nominations in three categories; fiction, non-fiction and literature for children and young adults, with 5 nominations in each category. Below is a list of this year's nominated works. The prize will be awarded by the President of Iceland, Guðni Th. Jóhannesson, in the beginning of 2020.
