Nominations for the 2017 Icelandic Literary Prize

15 titles have been nominated for the 2017 Icelandic Literary Prize in three categories: fiction, non-fiction and literature for children and young adults.

Tilnefnd-2017Tilnefndar-baekurOn December 1st, the nominations of 15 titles for the Icelandic Literary Prize were announced at Kjarvalsstaðir - Reykjavík Art Museum. There were nominations in three categories; fiction, non-fiction and literature for children and young adults, with 5 nominations in each category. This is the 29th year that the prize is handed out. Below is a list of this year's nominated works in each category.
