The Icelandic Literature Center and The Writers´ Union of Iceland invite applications for residency grants for translators of Icelandic literature. 

The Icelandic Literature Center and The Writers´ Union of Iceland invite applications for residency grants for translators of Icelandic literature. 

Applicants selected will be granted up to four weeks stay in Gunnarshús (The Writers´ residence in Reykjavík) in 2014. The grant consists of travel expenses, housing and a sum of ISK 20.000. pr. week - to cover living expenses during the stay.

The applications, indicating translated works/planned translations from Icelandic and preferable dates of the stay, should be sent with e-mail to: islit@islit.is - no later than 1. October 2013
