As part of the Icelandic Literature Center's promotional push in the Nordic countries, special emphasis will be given to the visibility of Icelandic authors and literature at the Göteborg Book Fair in the next three years.

At this year's book fair, which takes place in September, the Icelandic authors Eiríkur Örn Norðdahl, Yrsa Sigurðardóttir, Andri Snær Magnason, Sjón and Lani Yamamoto will appear as part of the fair's literature programme, and at other events.

Attended by roughly 100,000 guests each year, the Göteborg Book Fair is the largest book fair in the Nordic Countries. The Icelandic stall at the fair will be a collaboration between the Icelandic Literature Center and Promote Iceland. This year's book fair takes place September 25-28.
