We are pleased to note that Sjón's novel Moonstone – The Boy Who Never Was (Icelandic: Mánasteinn – drengurinn sem aldrei var til), which received the Icelandic Literature Prize earlier this year, has been published in both Danish (as Månesten) and Finnish (Poika nimelta kuukivi). Meanwhile, Eiríkur Örn Norðdahl's novel Evil (Icelandic title Illska), which claimed the same prize in 2013, has been published in German (as Böse) with the publishing house Klett-Cotta, and is due in Swedish and French as well.

The next deadline to apply for grants for translations into Nordic and other foreign languages is September 15.
