Larissa Kyzer

Larissa Kyzer holds a Master's degree in Translation Studies from the University of Iceland, a Master's in Library and Information Science, and a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature. In 2012, she received a Fulbright grant to Iceland, where she lived, worked, and studied for five years. Larissa was Princeton University’s fall 2019 Translator in Residence and is co-chair of the PEN America Translation Committee, as well as a member of Ós, an Iceland-based international literary collective, and the American Literary Translators Association. Her translation of Kristín Eiríksdóttir’s A Fist or a Heart won the American-Scandinavian Foundation’s 2019 translation prize.
