Martina Kašparová
Martina
works as a freelance translator of Icelandic and Swedish literature and movies
into her mother tongue – Czech. She completed a MA degree in Translation
Studies (German/Czech) and Swedish Philology at the Charles University in
Prague and a BA in Icelandic as a Second Language at the University of Iceland.
She has specialized in literary and audiovisual translation and worked as a
translator and proof-reader for various publishing houses and film production
companies in the Czech Republic. For over a decade, she was also working as a
project manager at the Nordic culture centre Scandinavian House in Prague.
